The Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice is responsible
for the strategic and operational leadership and execution of equity,
inclusion and social justice for faculty, staff and students.
The Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice is led by the
Senior Vice President for Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice who is an
officer of the university and serves on the President’s Leadership Team. The
Office is charged with institutional strategy, leadership, programming,
policies and praxis.

The Office seeks to institutionalize programming and policies that
create an equitable and inclusive environment for students. Moreover, the
office conducts search committee trainings for staff and faculty search
committees to ensure that those individuals who most directly interact with
students are equipped to create an inclusive environment. Thus students
who serve on various committees may participate in anti-bias workshops.
