A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:

The Tishman Environment and Design Center consulted with the Provost's Office, Development Office, and Office of Research Support to develop a list of faculty and staff known to be conducting sustainability research based on grants or awards they have received and/or their affiliation with Centers and Institutes on campus that are conducting sustainability research. Full-time staff at Centers and Institutes conducting sustainability research on campus were included in the headcount.
