The survey included 18 questions on a Likert scale covering topics including wellness, transparency of communication, diversity, decision-making, and creativity and innovation, as well as providing employees with the opportunity to rank their priorities in the areas surveyed.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
The survey was one component of a university-wide "Employer of Choice" initiative led by the Human Resources office, aimed at providing input into increasing employee satisfaction. Work on this initiative is ongoing with the university's Senior Staff, the university Staff Senate, and other groups.
