The New School committed to upgrading lighting and installing occupancy sensors in bathrooms in 2009. Facilities Management began this work in 4 buildings. Occupancy sensors in bathrooms have now have been installed in Parsons East, Arnhold Hall, Mannes, Johnson/Kaplan Hall, and Lang. And as spaces are renovated sensors are installed where appropriate.
