The New School donates surplus food from its kitchens and eateries to City Harvest, which has been serving New York City for more than 25 years and is the world's first food rescue organization, dedicated to feeding the city's hungry men, women, and children. The university donates leftover food that meets the organization's strict guidelines (link below).
