A brief description of the post-consumer food waste composting program:
In conjunction with The New School's pre-consumer food waste composting program, post-consumer food waste is collected in the following locations on campus:
The 13th Street Residence Cafeteria (118 West 13th Street)
Lang Cafe (65 West 11th Street)
Parsons East (25 East 13th Street) – Floors 2, 3, 4 and 5
Arnhold Hall (55 West 13th Street) - Café 55 and Library Café
This waste is collected by the university's waste hauler, Action Carting, which deploys special compost trucks.
