Narrative outlining how employee participation in the institution’s sustainability activities was determined:

Many employees attend sustainability events, but the most widespread and most easily trackable method for counting employee engagement with sustainability activities is through our Reuzzi program. Reuzzi is a voluntary app-based program that empowers students and employees to avoid single-use disposable to-go containers for the dining hall and cups in the cafes.  To participate, employees must create an account, dowload the app, and then "check out" and later return the container or mug.  Therefore, this is not a passive program.

Whenever employees use a reusable to-go container in the dining hall or reusable mug in the cafe, this transaction is tracked in the Reuzzi app.  So far in the 24-25 school year we've had 51 unique employees use the Reuzzi system, representing 10.2% of all employees.  This means that at least 10% of our employees are actively participating in a sustainability activity by selecting reusable to-go containers or cups through the Reuzzi program.
