Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Office Yard Sales
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
In 2022, faculty departments conducted the first free on-campus 'office yard sale.' Any faculty or staff members within the department were encouraged to bring items that they no longer use to an open conference room. Items collected included office supplies such as binders, folders, and files as well as office decorations and reusable kitchen and event supplies. All university staff and faculty were invited to visit the 'yard sale' over a two day period to claim items that they need. Any items remaining after the two day period were donated to local organizations.
