A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

Prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic (March 2020), non-instructional staff were required to attend a 4 hour orientation. The orientation covered waste management practices on campus. New employees watched a 5-minute video on how to properly discard their waste on campus. At the end of the video, employees had to answer a brief 5 question quiz to demonstrate that they understood the recycling protocols. The answers were given in class to give employees to learn.

After the orientation, employees were invited to tour the campus on the shuttle. The tour included highlights such as the solar arrays on campus and electric car charging stations.
