In Spring 2022, the Busch School of Business Consulting Class developed a survey to assess the level of awareness among the campus population, including students, staff, and faculty, of the University's 5-Year Sustainability Plan and the importance of various sustainability initiatives, among other objectives.

The survey was developed in coordination with the Office of Financial Planning, Institutional Research and Assessment who administered the survey using Qualtrics in March 2022.


A brief summary of results from the cultural assessment:

The survey was completed by over 400 respondents (46% of respondents were students, 35% were staff, and 19% were faculty). Over 60% of respondents indicated that sustainability is very or extremely important to them personally and 32% of respondents have scanned or read the 5-Year Sustainability Plan. Respondents also provided a variety of other data that will help inform sustainability initiatives over the coming years.
