In the University's Strategic Plan, Strategic Goal 1 ensures that every aspect of the University is clearly and distinctively grounded in our Catholic identity. To achieve that goal, Initiative 1.a.vii states that Catholic University strives to be leaders in a cohesive and coordinated effort toward environmental stewardship in keeping with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Additionally, all undergraduate students complete the Liberal Arts Curriculum as the core of their studies at Catholic University. The Liberal Arts Curriculum includes a requirement for students in every major to take one course in Foundations in Natural Science, which may include a course in Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Physics, or Psychology.
Additionally, all undergraduate students complete the Liberal Arts Curriculum as the core of their studies at Catholic University.
