One of the strategic goals for action to promote sustainability is sustainable transportation. In the context of raising awareness and changing the commuting behavior of our members ACG is about to launch a car sharing platform. RideShare
The Center of Excellence in Logistics, Shipping & Transportation in collaboration with Deree IT students, are working on the development of a cross platform application to assist with the transport requirements of the ACG Community in the form of carpooling. The web interface is ready to be launched and the android platform is under development.

ACG has two electric vehicle recharging stations. These stations are located at the parking lot at Agia Paraskevi campus. The stations are for recharging college-owned electric vehicles, but it is available to be used by employees and students also.

ACG following sustainable best practices aiming at minimizing carbon emissions and creating a sustainable transportation culture among its members, promotes sustainable transportation as follows:

1. Shuttle bus service
ACG offers a shuttle bus service from central points around Athens (mainly from Metro Station) to campus and back. The shuttle service schedule is announced on its main website as well as the intranet system

2. ACG Sustainability Pledge
Through the ACG Sustainability pledge, signatory ACG members are encouraged and committed to using more sustainable ways of transportation.

3. Sustainability Tips
On a dedicated section of the Sustainability@ACG website we have posted publicly Sustainable Transportation Tips in order to motivate our members and guests to follow more sustainable ways of transportation

Finally, for injured and handicapped students and faculty there are policies and strategies as well as priority to ensure their access to the entire campus using the ACG electric cars negating the need to be driven to the buildings of the College.

Personal Sustainable Mobility Project
In collaboration with the "Intelligent Research Infrastructure for Shipping, Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics - ENIRISST" ACG is performing research on the adoption and use of personal devices for sustainable personal mobility. In the context of this project, we deployed on campus several e-scooters for use of the ACG Community and we recorded their responses on the usability and adoption of such solutions in urban transport.
