Calculate the ACG greenhouse gas emissions which are classified into Scope 1 and 2 (according to the leading GHG Protocol corporate standard). The calculation is based on the sum of the resources consumption and the relevant GHG emission/
removal factor published by the national bodies (Ministry of the Environment & Energy and Renewable Energy Sources Operator & Guarantees of Origin S.A. DAPEEP, Greece)for the CO2.

A brief description of the GHG inventory verification process:
Data was analyzed and checked by an independent external engineer and TUV Hellas during ISO50001 audit. The staff involved with the accounting process were interviewed as were key personnel from the Technical Services of the institution.Data was crosschecked with electricity and natural gas bills, purchasing orders and equipment accounted for by the GhG inventory were surveyed. Working assumptions were valid as was the methodology used for the inventory.

we are in process of certifying ACG greenhouse gas emissions and removals reporting according to ISO 14064-1:2018 standard on July 2023
