A brief description of the institution’s sustainability projects fund:
This donation contributes both to the development and dissemination of knowledge on sustainability, with the establishment of the endowed Chair, and to the provision of educational opportunities through the Scholarship Scheme. At the same time, it supports Alba in emerging as a hub of knowledge creation and dissemination on sustainability and responsible management. The Chair funds academic activities like research, teaching and disseminating research-based knowledge in the field of sustainability.
The fund offers also scholarships to students. The scholarships concern Greek students participating in Alba’s postgraduate or MBA programs and want to develop skills and knowledge in business administration and sustainability management. They will be offered to candidates with academic and professional excellence, as well as with high academic and professional potentials.
The fund is exclusively for sustainability-focused projects/initiatives either initiated by students or professors. This fund funded the ESG research that was addressed to Greek companies, suppliers, employees etc. aiming at determing the practices of Greek companies in following ESG criteria.

A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:
The Chair funds the academic activities of its Holder, who must be an academic and professor at the Alba Graduate Business School, internationally recognized and with academic record in sustainability. The Chairholder will be conducting research, teaching and disseminating research-based knowledge in the field of sustainability. The first Chairholder will be Dr. Pavlos A. Vlachos, Associate Professor of Marketing, Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. The Chairholder reports to the top administration as well as the donors.
