A brief description of the institution’s program to support employee volunteering:
The college has adopted the Community Service Leave policy. The purpose of this policy is to allow employees (faculty and staff) to participate voluntarily in services for our community during their workweek. This supports the president’s goal to enable and empower faculty, and staff, to give back to the community.
"Good Citizenship" is an initiative of the ACG'S ALBA Graduate Business School employees. The purpose of this initiative is the planning and organization of activities that enhance societal well-being and the public good.
The employees are represented by a Committee, which is involved in the organization of various social and environmental activities.
ACG Community Service Days
In the context of the ACG Community Service Days, two bi-annual volunteer initiatives are organized during the Fall and Spring semesters.
The weekly ACG Farmers' Market volunteer initiative as well as other ad hoc initiatives that are organized throughout the year, fall into the ACG Community Service Days program.
