Part 1. Greenhouse gas emissions inventory
Yes
A copy of the most recent GHG emissions inventory:
A brief description of the methodology and/or tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory:
This report follows the Green House Gas protocol for activity data. Assumptions for uncertainty calculations follow the GHG protocol standard which can be found at
http://www.ghgprotocol.org/sites/default/files/ghgp/ghg-uncertainty.pdf
http://www.ghgprotocol.org/sites/default/files/ghgp/ghg-uncertainty.pdf
Has the GHG emissions inventory been validated internally by personnel who are independent of the GHG accounting and reporting process and/or verified by an independent, external third party?:
Yes
A brief description of the GHG inventory verification process:
Data was analyzed and checked by an independent external engineer. The staff involved with the accounting process were interviewed as were key personnel from the Technical Services of the institution.Data was crosschecked with electricity bills, purchasing orders and equipment accounted for by the GhG inventory were surveyed. Working assumptions were valid as was the methodology used for the inventory. Further clarifications to the values assumed were provided and elements of the inventory were based on reasonable uncertainties, assumptions.
