Bias Response Team
Yes
A brief description of the institution’s discrimination response protocol or team (including examples of actions taken during the previous three years):
ACG has developed a documented policy (Nondiscrimination Policy P0001) concerning discrimination issues in a holistic way. In this approach, guidelines are provided for equally preventing as well as dealing with discrimination incidents.
This policy applies to all students, faculty, and staff, including but not limited to non- supervisory staff, supervisors, managers, directors, and leadership. It is the responsibility of every student, faculty, and staff member to follow this policy conscientiously. ACG proactively prevents such issues through education programs carried out by the office of Student Affairs.
Matters concerning discrimination, hate-crime and bias are dealt with through the Student Affairs Committee chaired by the Dean of Student Affairs (for Students) and through a Human Resources committee chaired by the Vice President of Human Resources. So far we can proudly assert that there have been no incidents of bias, hate-crime, discriminatory acts raised to the committees and/or Student Support Services.
