Through hard work and dedication, the ACG Student Association aims to empower the voice of students and actively promote a vibrant campus community at The American College of Greece. Acting as liaison between the undergraduate student body and the administration, faculty and staff of The American College of Greece, we strive to provide responsible leadership and fair, democratic representation of the students in an official capacity while promoting equality and unity among the student body.
Council of Representatives
The Council of Representatives shall be composed of twenty one total representatives; 18 representatives corresponding to 21 majors and 3 appointed representatives corresponding to the class of incoming first year students. Each major will have one Representative elected within their major, by their peers. In addition, there will be three first year representatives appointed by the Vice President and approved by a two-thirds vote of the Council of Representatives every year in the month of September. These students will represent both first year students and students who are undecided at the beginning of the academic year. -
Five Standing Committees have been composed in order to facilitate and ensure that all issues in each division/department are addressed by the appropriate committee:
Standing Committee for Community Involvement
Standing Committee for Public Relations
Standing Committee for Athletics
Standing Committee for Internal Affairs
Standing Committee for Social Affairs

Senior Management Team (or Senior Administration)
Beyond the president, other senior administrators provide leadership to the academic programs and are responsible for the daily academic management of the College, ensuring the quality of the undergraduate, graduate, and professional education programs on all campuses. The senior administrative officers—the Provost, VP of Enrollment and Administration, VP of Marketing, VP of Public Affairs, VP of Human Resources and Campus Services, VP of Finance/Chief Financial Officer, Controller, Dean of ALBA Graduate Business School, the PIERCE Principal—compose the President’s Cabinet. Its function is advisory to the President, who serves as the presiding officer.

Authorities and Responsibilities Delegated to the Committee
- Represent Faculty opinion regarding working conditions, contracts,
procedures in issuing contracts and other administrative procedures,
salaries, fringe benefits, and Faculty welfare in general. Specifically to:
o Discuss with the Faculty and the administration issues arising in
regard to the above concerns.
o Make recommendations to the Faculty regarding the above
o Consider Faculty motions regarding the recommendations.
o Report back to the Faculty about administrative decisions and
actions regarding recommendations.
o Engage in ongoing review of the Faculty Manual.
o Engage in ongoing review of the course evaluation instrument.
o Convey Faculty concerns to the Academic Council and/or the CAO.
- The Committee will be composed of five (5) Faculty members. Two (2)
Committee members shall be from the School of Liberal Arts and
Sciences, two (2) from the School of Business, and one (1) from the
Frances Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts.
- The Committee members are elected for a two-year term, and can
serve no more than two consecutive terms.
