Reduce Reuse Recycle Get Involved

A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged:

The ACG – Center of Excellence for Sustainability at the Office of Public Affairs initiated a Waste Reduction and Recycling Campaign, in an effort to raise awareness and to guide Students, Faculty and Staff towards successful waste reduction and recycling best practices. The awareness efforts will run throughout this academic year and will be followed by select initiatives across all campuses (Pierce, Deree, Alba)


A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:

Recycling trends improved. Data are still under evaluation as part of a student research project. Recycling containers had their contents measured and asses for the quality of the recycling materials deposited.
