The survey was developed and administered by the Center of Excellence for Sustainability at the Office of Public Affairs in order to gauge progress on sustainability awareness in the ACG community.

The survey was submitted to the ACG's IT department who prepared an electronic version, based on a survey specific software platform. This version was distributed by e-mail.

A brief summary of the results and the changes in trends witnessed compared to the 2015 survey.

66% stated that “Sustainability” with regard to natural resources means: Using as many natural resources as are replaced by natural processes (2015, 65%).

75% answered that they are interested in sustainability, whilst the "not interested percentage was 3%. (2015 73% ,2%)

15% stated that they feel confident to explain the sustainability concept. 10% stated that they are not confident and 32% partially confident. (2015 23%, 23%, 44%)

63% stated that they actively recycle waste. 30 % recycling often but not always.(2015 59%, 32%)
