The survey was developed and administered by the Center of Excellence for Sustainability in order to gauge progress on sustainability awareness in the ACG community.

The survey was submitted to the ACG's IT department who prepared an electronic version, based on a survey specific software platform. This version was distributed by e-mail.

A brief summary of results from the assessment(s):
65% stated that “Sustainability” with regard to natural resources means: Using as many natural resources as are replaced by natural processes.
73% answered that they are strongly interested in sustainability, whilst the "not interested percentage was 1.9%.
29% stated that they feel confident to explain the sustainability concept. 23% stated that they are not confident and 44% partially confident.
59% stated that they actively recycle waste. 32% re recycling often but not always.
