A brief description of the institution's green laboratory program:
Safe chemical use and proper disposal practices are required through the University's Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) which is implemented and enforced by the EHS department. The recycling of hazardous materials and other materials and other universal waste streams is implemented and managed by the Environmental Protection Section through its Raiders Reuse It Program.
Energy program discusses efficiency in labs and fume hoods.
