A brief description of how the literacy assessment was developed and/or when it was adopted:
Students in ENGL 3365 developed the survey using sample literacy surveys conducted previously at Texas Tech and other institutions of higher education. Students developed the survey and gathered responses from their course and some students across campus.

N/A survey was sent to a random sample.

There are varying levels of sustainability knowledge at Texas Tech. The survey was random, so it reduced the potential for bias in the responses. The results from the survey are in the attached copy of the questions in the section above. These results are being used to guide sustainability outreach on campus.
