The BS in Natural Resources Managemebnt at TTU includes courses in habitat and species management, conservation and restoration, and other topics
relevant for sustainability in a changing world. Students in this program are well-qualified to work in federal and state agencies, private conservation
groups, for-profit companies with sustainability or conservation programs, or to enter graduate school for further training.

A brief description of the undergraduate degree program (2nd program):

The Bachelor of Science in Renewable Energy offered through the College of Arts and Sciences, prepares students for a career in many segments of the
industry by offering courses on multiple aspects of the industry, from education on the characteristics of renewable resources to instruction on project
development and management. The versatile multidisciplinary nature of the degree plan makes Texas Tech's renewable energy program unique.

Renewable Energy Minor

A brief description of the undergraduate minor or concentration:

This minor consists of 18 hours of undergraduate wind energy courses. A minimum of 9 hours of RE coursework must be taken at the 3000 level or above. All courses must be approved by a renewable energy advisor, and a grade of C or better achieved in each course. Renewable energy is a multidisciplinary field, and some concepts will require a background in calculus and physics.

Renewable Energy Undergraduate Concentration

A brief description of the undergraduate minor or concentration (2nd program):

Students interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in University Studies, a Bachelor of Science in University Studies, or a Bachelor of General Studies with an area of concentration in renewable energy must complete all of the degree requirements for the chosen degree. An area of concentration in renewable energy includes a minimum of 18 hours of wind energy coursework. A minimum of 9 hours of RE coursework must be taken at the 3000 level or above.
