A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):

As a Howdy Techsans you will have the exciting opportunity to help both others and the environment during residence hall move- in weekend. HT's will participate in all elements of the College Success Sessions, early move-in, meals, and social events. During the move-in weekend, HT's will spend a portion of their time stationed outside of the residence halls to assist new students and their families with recycling cardboard and foam.

Clean Up the Environment (CUTE) Club

A brief description of the student educators program (2nd program):

Clean Up the Environment, better known as CUTE, is a student club at Texas Tech University dedicated to creating a sustainable environment on campus.

Members of CUTE help to promote campus recycling initiatives, raise awareness about reduction of energy consumption and create ways for residence halls to reuse materials.
