A brief description of the certificate program(s), including the year the program was created:
"Wind Energy Graduate Certificate Program - All courses have been developed by expert faculty from TTU's National Wind Institute (NWI). Each course (once completed and passed) is equal to 38 classroom clock hours of instruction and may be completed independently within a 4-6 week time frame.
You may choose individual courses to meet your needs or work towards obtaining the Graduate Certificate in Wind Energy. To qualify for the Graduate Certificate, you must first complete the required courses: Advanced Managerial Wind Energy I and II, or Advanced Technical Wind Energy I and II, – and then complete three elective courses. All Wind Energy courses are offered by distance and face-to-face.
Note: Participants who have little to no background in Wind Energy are encouraged to complete the introductory course: WE 5302 - Renewable Energy Systems and then enroll in the Graduate Certificate program."
