As a Red Raider Recycler (R3) you will have the exciting opportunity to help both others and the environment during residence hall move- in weekend. R3's will participate in all elements of the Howdy TECHsans program including the College Success Sessions, early move-in, meals, and social events. During the move-in weekend, R3's will be stationed outside of the residence halls to assist families and other new students.

Students are accepted through an application process over the summer to be considered for the fall program

As part of the 5 day program, student educators receive information on campus sustainability initiatives.

University Student Housing supports the program. The estimated cost for the program is $75 per student.

Clean Up the Environment (CUTE) Club

Clean Up the Environment, better known as CUTE, is a student club at Texas Tech University dedicated to creating a sustainable environment on campus.
Members of CUTE help to promote campus recycling initiatives, raise awareness about reduction of energy consumption and create ways for residence halls to reuse materials.

CUTE Club is an open organization.

Throughout the semester, the club receives seminars and tours from entities on campus to learn about campus sustainability.
