A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
The new employee orientation provides information on The Office on Equal Opportunity & Title IX. The Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX provides resources to students, faculty, and staff to address concerns regarding discrimination on the basis of sex, which includes sexual misconduct. It also describes Environmental, Health, Safety, Risk and Emergency Management. This department deals with Wastewater Management, Hazardous Waste Management, Stormwater Management Program, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures. The orientation also introduces Institutional Inclusive Excellence faculty & staff initiatives such as Affirmative Action Plan, Equitable hiring, Bobcat J.E.D.I. Program as well as the Trans Experience Training Courses.
