The Office of Sustainability at Texas State university runs an Instagram and Twitter account showcasing sustainable insights, volunteer opportunities, campus information, and community events that are currently going on within the university. The Office also manages a blog known as the Sustainable Salamander to highlight local news, DIY ideas, campus developments, and more related to sustainability.

Signage

Yes

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Both the North Campus Housing and the Undergraduate Academic Center are certified LEED buildings. North Campus Housing received a gold status, and the Undergraduate Academic Center received a silver status. They are represented with a plaque located on the main floor. Chartwells Dining maintains signage throughout their dining halls that encourage reduction in food waste and informs patrons about their sustainable purchasing initiatives. Signage is also located near storm water drains indicating their connection to the river and the university's MS4 program. Signage for Certified Wildlife Habitat exists in areas near the TXST Agriculture building, and interpretive signage is located at Spring Lake/Meadows Center for Water and the Environment.

Yes

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:
The Texas State University Interactive Campus Sustainability Map highlights sustainable features on campus such as outdoor recycling bins, energy conservation and efficiency, and water refill stations. The Office of Sustainability also provides walking tours to requested groups.
