A brief description of the institution’s LGBTQ-inclusive policies, programs and practices:
Since 2000, Texas State has created and established programs to promote awareness about sexual and gender identities through education and training. Our belief is that LGBTQIA+ persons excel as members of Texas State when their full identities are included and affirmed. Information is provided with the intention of promoting visible support, increasing safe spaces, challenging oppression (homophobia, transphobia and heterosexism), and improving the knowledge and understanding of Texas State Allies.
