Please note that assured reports are still subject to review by AASHE staff prior to publication, which may require additional revisions. AASHE reserves the right to withhold points for this credit if it is determined that the assurance process was clearly unsuccessful in identifying and resolving inconsistencies or errors (e.g., when AASHE staff identify a significant number of issues that were either not mentioned in the completed review template or not resolved successfully).
Did the assurance process include internal review, an external audit, or both?:
The name, title, and organizational affiliation of each reviewer:
Rebekah Annan, Graduate Student, Texas A&M University - Rebekah was not involved in any aspect of our report and has acted as peer reviewer for other instiutions.
Danielle Laperriere, Sustainability Manager, Office of Sustainability - Respondent to issues found in the review.
A brief description of the institution’s assurance process:
We utilized an internal reviewer to complete the Pre-Submission Review process. Rebekah Annan's position was designed to serve as an independent reviewer not involved in the data collection process for any credit. Rebekah used the provided template to go through each credit. Once complete, the review was turned in to Danielle Laperriere and she addressed comments and provided responses. Rebekah went back through the report to ensure comments were addressed and re-returned the completed form to finish the review process.
