Does the institution have a bicycle-sharing program or participate in a local bicycle-sharing program?:
Yes

A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:

Sustainable Transportation has had a bike share program since 2014. Our current program vendor, Veo, has been operating on campus since 2019 and provided over 2mil rides on pedal bikes and electric throttle bikes to date.

Borrow A Bike is a free program for those that need the use of a bike for a short period of time. If you borrow a bike today, it is due back by 10:00 a.m. the next morning. If you borrow a bike on Friday, it's not due until the following Monday. Customers may borrow a bike 12 times per semester. The program is free to anyone employed by or currently enrolled at Texas A&M University.

We also have bike lease program allowing participants to lease a bike shop quality bicycle for low fee per semester.

Does the institution participate in a car sharing program?:
Yes

A brief description of the car sharing program:

We have an exclusive contract with ZipCar to provide vehicles through 2025 with a fleet to be maintained for short to medium term rental by TAMU students, faculty, and staff.

Does the institution offer preferential parking or other incentives for fuel efficient vehicles?:
No

A brief description of the incentives for fuel efficient vehicles:
---

Does the institution have one or more Level 2 or Level 3 electric vehicle recharging stations that are accessible to student and employee commuters?:
Yes

A brief description of the electric vehicle recharging stations:

We now have 33 level 2 chargers across campus. We currently have an active RFP in the pursuit of a bank of DC Fast chargers.

Does the institution have incentives or programs to encourage employees to live close to campus?:
No

A brief description of the incentives or programs to encourage employees to live close to campus:

This would be extremely inefficient and unproductive as housing near campus for staff is quite expensive. If the economics of the situation develop accordingly, individuals will make that decision for themselves.

Does the institution have other programs or initiatives to encourage more sustainable modes of transportation and/or reduce the impact of student and employee commuting?:
Yes

A brief description of other programs or initiatives to encourage more sustainable modes of transportation and/or reduce the impact of student and employee commuting:

We have demos of the shared mobility options during new student orientation in addition to events throughout the academic year. Our rideshare platforms with Rideshark and Hitch also support other commute choices instead of driving alone.
