EPIC-Network 2017 - Hosted the 7th annual conference where more than 30 schools from around the country come to discuss and learn from peer institutions about ways to increase sustainability in communities through high impact service learning.

We have two staff members who serve on the Executive Council for TRACS. One is a Co-Chair.

One staff member serves on the AASHE Advisory Council and the Diversity Sub-committee

One staff person serves on the executive council of the EPIC-Network.

A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:

We work with different schools in the Texas A&M System whenever approached. We share best practices and make site visits as requested. For example, we work sustainability staff at Texas A&M-Commerce, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Tarelton State.

Our Sustainability Director serves as mentor in the AASHE Mentorship program. She developed a relationship with the sustainability staff at University of California Riverside.

The Texas Target Communities Program (TTCP) and Texas A&M works with and mentors other universities in maintaining and launching a similar high impact service learning program (EPIC-Network). We have worked closely with the University of Tennessee, San Diego State University, the University of Wisconsin and others.

Through our work on TRACS we work with other universities to plan the annual TRACS Sustainability Summit. We have been involved with planning the Summit over the past seven years.
