A solar-tree that powers the Smart Grid lab on campus, six solar table charging stations as well as a Green Room in our fitness building that has 15 machines which go directly back into the buildings energy usage.

TVA's Green Power Switch is an investment in regional renewable energy which protects the local environment for generations to come. The monthly fee supports technologies such as wind, solar and biomass. Currently all Green Power Switch renewable energy is eligible for green power points under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
