The TN HPBr is a mandatory design, construction, and operations tools for all TN State Building Commission projects, which is all projects on the TN TEch campus, including: new construction, additions, and renovation/maintenance. Complete building renovations include: Bartoo Hall, Kittrell Hall,Jere Whitson Bldg, Residence Halls- Jobe/Murphy and Browning/Evins. Partial building renovations: Volpe Library, Roaden University Center, West Stadium offices, Derryberry Hall 1st & 2nd floors, Foundation Hall, Baseball Club House and major classrooms in Prescott & Clement Halls. Also, a large addition to Roaden University Center.

Compliance is assured at various stages throughout the project by the owner, the designer, and the contractor by using the HPBr Checklist/Tracking Form. Design criteria of the HPBr are applicable during all phases of a project from initiation, approval, design, and construction.
