Narrative and/or website URL providing an overview of the institution’s food and organic materials management tracking and assessment initiatives:
Tecnológico de Monterrey, sustainability area, has been working to establish a measurment process to track all of the waste that is generated in all the campuses nationwide. During 2023 we developed our tracking system and we create dashboards to visualize the information, monthly and per campus, so that we are able to:
1.Create a base line (know how much waste we are generating, understand what are we doing with that (are we sending it to landfill? are we recycling? are we diverting? and if so, how much in terms of KG and in %.
2. After retrieving that information, create strategies per each campus that is part of the integrated waste management system strategy implemented nationwide.
3. Visualize the information for metering and also recognition in each campus.
4. Those dashboards are within our institution tools that at the moment are not public, but here's an image of the gross information regarding waste.
