ETHOS Program:
At Tecnológico de Monterrey, we are committed to training people who are aware of their actions and the ethical responsibility that this entails. Therefore, we promote respect for human dignity, as well as honest, consistent and responsible behavior in our community.  At ETHOS, you can safely and reliably report breaches of ethics and our values, contributing to the strengthening of respect, honesty and integrity.


In the event that these reports are based on gender violence or violation due to belonging to historically discriminated groups, the Human Dignity Attention Point will classify the aggression as a Student Values Penalty that will have a consequence in accordance with the General Student Regulations (RGE)

For the third consecutive year, Tecnológico de Monterrey received the “Best Places to Work LGBT+ 2023” certification and is once again the only educational institution in Mexico to receive this distinction from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC).

Seeking the representation of historically marginalized groups, coordinated through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. These committees meet regularly and have work plans, priorities by topic, and networks to listen to their communities. The diversity and inclusion committees include:

- Leaders of Tomorrow: A nationwide program that develops young leaders into agents of positive social change, offering full-ride scholarships to outstanding students with high potential to impact their communities.

 

- Prepanet: An online high school designed for students with limited financial resources who cannot attend traditional schooling.

 

- Change Makers and Central de Cambio: An entrepreneurial incubator group in Guadalajara promoting social change.

 

- Mati Tec: A program aimed at transforming teaching in public primary schools in Mexico through a digital platform, mobile devices, and teacher involvement, funded by various partners.

 

- Voces Anónimas: An academic project where students document diverse perspectives from different social contexts, resulting in books published in collaboration with Editorial Porrúa and Fondo para la Paz.

 

- No Somos Medias Naranjas: A feminist collective at Monterrey Campus promoting gender role redefinition and healthy, violence-free relationships through educational conferences and workshops.

 

- AEPI: A Student Association for Indigenous Populations at Monterrey Campus.

 

- AIRE (Monterrey Campus): An association promoting integration, respect, and equity for diverse sexual orientations and genders, and ensuring equal opportunities and leadership for LGBT+ groups.

 

- VITA-app: An app that promotes a healthy lifestyle for the elderly with alarms and reminders for daily activities.

 

- Recordando: A game designed to reinforce cognitive abilities in seniors.

 

- Project AMA y Trasciende A.C.: A nonprofit organization that started as a student group, focused on better inclusion of seniors, stemming from research on the senior situation in Monterrey.

 

- Support Program for Parents: A program providing tools for better work-life balance for teachers and staff, including flexible work schedules.

 

- Childcare Centers: Daycare and early childhood education centers in Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City, and State of Mexico to support working parents.

 

- Rooms for Nursing: Private, comfortable spaces for breastfeeding or pumping milk, established at Monterrey Campus and North Campus Building D, to be replicated at other campuses.

 

- Equality Committee: A committee at Tec de Monterrey aimed at promoting gender equality, inclusive language, education on equality, equity, and female leadership, and fostering active participation from women.

 

- Gender Equality Course: A course introduced in 2016 at Monterrey Campus focusing on gender equity: Men, Women, and Society.

 

- Inclusive Recruiter Course: A course aimed at training recruiters and suppliers on inclusive hiring techniques.

 

- + Talento Certification: A degree program created by EGADE Business School in partnership with Movimiento Congruencia to design projects for workplace inclusion of people with disabilities.

 

- Distrito TEC: Garza Sada Roundabout: A project making the roundabout 100% accessible, certified by CIRI, in collaboration with accessibility experts.

 

- Project Accessibility of Spaces: An initiative started in 2015 to make Tec campuses and offices 100% inclusive.
