Distrito Tec is an urban community that seeks to transform lives through the power of encounters. Driven by Tec de Monterrey - Campus Monterrey, we collaborate so that the quality of life in our environment and the capacity for innovation nourish each other.

Community Council - Distrito Tec
The Community Council is a representative body made up of the presidents of the neighborhoods of Campus Monterrey formally constituted before the Municipality of Monterrey and the State Government with a Neighborhood Council. This group has been recognized since November 2015 in the Urban Development Program for the State of Nuevo León. Tec de Monterrey participates in the Council as a member and as Technical Secretary.
The Council's objective is to collaborate with the authorities and the University developing projects for the area, and it has become a reference for active citizen participation in the City. The Council meets once a month and work among neighbors on a voluntary basis to solve public problems through various commissions: - Security Commission - Urban Development Commission - Community Development Commission - Public Space Commission - Commission for Review and Update of Programs, Laws and Regulations.
