Sightings of monarch butterflies and their larvae have been observed in the Lomas Rectoria and Parque Hundido spaces, which have species of perching trees, Evergreen Oak, Oak and Sabino Oaks and palatable plants - Asclepia curassavica and Lantana Camara.

The methodology sought to identify butterfly sightings at dusk and in the morning, in addition to identifying where they swapped and verifying that they were there the next day.
A brief description of the scope of the assessment(s):
The evaluation of the behavior of the monarch butterfly was carried out during the autumn seasons during its migration period, where daily counts of butterflies and larvae were carried out and the species of trees and plants preferred by them were identified.
A brief description of the plans or programs in place to protect or positively affect identified species, habitats, and/or ecosystems:
The plans implemented to protect or positively affect this species were related to communicating its arrival and giving recommendations such as not touching butterflies or pupae, promoting milkweed, slowing down the car, contemplating them.
