BiblioTec: Under New Construction rating system of this international assessment,


this building approved correctly strict guidelines that include under


scope the best construction practices; the use of regional materials


and/or with recycled content included; the installation of energy, hydraulic


and air conditioning efficient systems; the harmonious integration with


the urban sprawl and the promotion of alternative transport to the private


car for the users. All of this, developed since early stages of project design


to the latest finishes, turning Biblioteca Tec into a world-class study space.


LEED Certification obtained by Biblioteca Tec reinforces the commitment


that the distinguished Tec de Monterrey maintains to provide high-efficiency


educational spaces that also impact positively the world.



 

 

 

 

E2 OFF-GRID proposes the combination of three technologies to become hydro-sustainable: implementation of a rainwater collection system, condensation of ambient humidity and a wastewater treatment system, It also takes advantage of sunlight to illuminate its spaces and has lighting and motion sensors that maximize its energy efficiency.
