Ruta Azul Student Committee
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
Ruta Azul Student Committee (Sustainability National Student Committee) is a joint effort at Tec de Monterrey between Ruta Azul, the Sustainability and Climate Change Plan, and Leadership and Student Affairs. From each Campus (26 campus), an undergrad and a high school students are appointed to represent the student community regarding sustainability issues, and to work to articulate, promote and strengthen student efforts in sustainability and climate change on campus through the Student Bodies of the Student Federation.
In October 2022, the First Cohort of the Ruta Azul Student Committee, formed by 34 students, was created and launched with the objective to design and propose a national project to advance Tec’s sustainability goals. The Committee proposed to draft a national student statement for sustainability, done by and for Student Groups at Tec from all over the country, called “En Ruta: Declaration of Sustainability of Student Groups”.
