List and description of building and renovation projects completed within the previous five years:

In Europe, when buildings are built or go through major renovations, they must be delivered with a building energy rating (BER) certifying the expected building energy consumption under standard operation. The BER is a “Less comprehensive green building standards” focused on energy efficiency. In Ireland, BER are conducted by a BER assessors under the authority of our national entity called Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). Non-Domestic buildings receiving a BER of A3 or better are considered Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) (Ref 1).

The list of construction and renovation projects within the last 5 years, reported under CAR v3 (Ref 2), have been split across 4 categories: (i) buildings excluded from the reporting, (ii) new buildings that are NZEB, (iii) new buildings that are NOT NZEB, (iv) Existing building that were refurbished but NOT to NZEB standard.
