Yes
Narrative and/or website providing information about the institution’s universal design guidelines or principles:
TU Dublin have published guidelines and initiatives focused on Universal Design (UD) that go beyond regulatory compliance. The institution actively integrates Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles across its curriculum and teaching practices. These guidelines aim to make learning accessible for all students by incorporating flexible teaching, assessment, and service provisions that cater to diverse learning needs. TU Dublin’s commitment is reinforced through initiatives under the N-TUTORR programme and the establishment of UDL as part of their Quality Framework, which supports inclusive teaching and learning practices throughout the university. (Ref 1), (Ref 2)
Furthermore, TU Dublin has participated in national projects such as the ALTITUDE Universal Design Chart, which embeds UD principles to enhance accessibility across physical and digital environments. This emphasis on UD reflects TU Dublin’s broader commitment to inclusion, which aligns with their Strategic Intent and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 for Quality Education.
