Taylor University is formally or informally involved in many local community development initiatives in Upland and the surrounding communities. A few formal community partnerships that Taylor is currently engaged in are as follows:
Perform a a Grant County community health survey
Economic Revitalization of downtown Upland
Upland Area Greenways Association
Eastbrook school district alternative energy project
River and road adoptions/cleanups
Upland Wellhead Protection Plan
Mississinewa River watershed water quality assessments
