Does the institution use weather data or weather sensors to automatically adjust irrigation practices?:
Yes
None
A brief description of how weather data or sensors are used:
Taylor adjusts all on-campus irrigation systems based on weather data. Since Taylor only has a few irrigated fields, the grounds staff are able to manually operate many of the sprinkler systems, only turning them on when necessary. Taylor has one system with a sensor and finds that on occasion it too needs to be adjusted according to weather data.
