A brief description or a copy of the institution’s policy regarding interdisciplinary research:
Research is an important component of faculty tenure and promotion decisions at Taylor. While there are no policies or program that explicitly encourage sustainability or interdisciplinary research, both are viewed positively. This allows faculty the freedom to address sustainability challenges in their research without concern that it will negatively affect promotion or tenure processes compared to engaging in research strictly within their academic discipline.
