A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive experience(s) offered by the institution:
Taylor World Outreach (T.W.O.) is an on-campus organization at Taylor University that arranges overseas educational experiences and projects for Taylor students. One project in particular focuses on how to work with local people groups in planning, designing, and implementing sustainable living practices and appropriate technologies in developing and third world countries. Since 2006, Dr. Michael Guebert of the Environmental Science Department has led multiple teams of Taylor students to Guatemala to teach them how to think sustainably while working with impoverished people groups.
