A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
All incoming freshman are involved in a Service Project during Transitions Week which includes environmental responsibility and recycling on campus. In addition, The Offices of Risk Management & Compliance, Diversity & Inclusion, and Wildlife, Sustainability & Ecosystem Sciences host resource tables at all orientation activities. Information concerning Tarleton's sustainability initiatives is shared during these times. We share information about specific initiatives that have been implemented across campus, as well as current and future projects.
