Does the institution offer at least one immersive, sustainability-focused educational study program that is one week or more in length?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:

As with the Global Discourse in Agriculture, the program was able to deliver the concepts of sustainable agriculture and its potential role in food security amid the pandemic and beyond. It presented ideas and knowledge in sustained crop, animal, plantation and forest tree production, food safety; and new normal strategies in terms of technology transfer and othe extension service deliveries.

Meanwhile, the Global Discourse in Engineering and Technology explores the role of E&T in helping to achieve the SDGs through research, projects, and initiatives in the private and public sectors locally and abroad.

The Global Discourse in Education centered on four (4) themes. For the first theme, the participants were able to develop understanding of the culture of the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia through the use of language which places a big factor in content delivery in the new normal schools. The second theme focused on mastery of gender sensitive and inclusive educational strategies in various subjects. It also strived to promote the inclusion of Sustainable Development Goals in the curriculum. For the third theme, the center of discussion was how flexible learning is in the new normal classrooms. It integrated contextualized lessons and professionalism in a virtual environment. The last of the themes prepared the participants to be mentally aware of their well-being.

The Global Discourse in Veterinary Medicine centered on basic concepts on goat and sheep production, theories on artificial insemination and embryo transfer in small ruminants and advances in goat and sheep breeding practices as well as their common diseases, their management, control and treatment.
