A brief description of the sustainability newsletter or social media platform:
We actively manage our social media presence under the handle @sustainableSU on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram. Our social media platforms are dedicated to promoting sustainability both on campus and within the broader community. Additionally, we have a dedicated team member responsible for overseeing these pages.
Signage
A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
LEED Buildings - recognized buildings on campus feature signage which identifies their specific LEED Rating. Pete's Giving Garden - student and volunteer-run vegetable garden, where all food produce goes to the food pantries. Bee Campus USA - Two native gardens pollinator gardens on campus. Waste rooms- waste rooms on campus feature signage specifying recyclable materials.
All of our waste rooms have posters explaining what is and what is not recyclable. We also have recycling centers in each of the dining centers for waste, recycling, and compost with signage for what can be composted, and what is recyclable.
We have signage at Pete's Giving Garden, Bee Campus USA, and at our Honey Bee enclosure.
Typically if it is a sustainable project we ensure there is signage.

Each section provides comprehensive information on recycling, composting, reducing paper usage, conserving water and energy, and sustainable transportation options. Additionally, the Office of Sustainability Management develops and disseminates PowerPoint presentations on sustainable practices for the home, as well as information on federal and state sustainability regulations and tax incentives.
Optional Fields
In the additional documentation is our PowerPoint presentation on Sustainable Home Practices from one of our presentations for staff, faculty and students who would like to learn how to live more eco friendly.
We don't have a green tour but we do have a great map that shows all the sustainable areas on campus.
